The Countries With the Most and Least Paid Leave in 2025

We were commissioned by payroll experts at Moorepay to uncover how much paid time off employees get in every country in 2025.

To do this, we gathered the statutory paid annual leave and paid public holidays in 187 countries from governmental websites. All statutory leave was converted into working days for the select countries where leave is reported in "calendar days", assuming a five-day workweek.
