Bettencourt Meyers and her family are incredibly wealthy thanks to their stake in L'Oréal, which was founded by Eugène Schueller (Françoise's grandfather).
She has served on L'Oreal's board since 1997 and is chairwoman of the family holding company, Téthys Invest.
#2: Alice Walton
Alice Walton is the only daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton (she has two brothers). In 2011, she opened the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in her hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas.
#7: Gina Rinehart
Rinehart has served as the chairman of Hancock Prospecting since 1991, a mining company founded by her father. According to Forbes, she's also Australia's second-largest cattle producer, with a portfolio of properties across the country.
