As of Q3 2024, the top 1% of U.S. households held 13.3% of total real estate wealth, while the next 9% (90th–99th percentile) owned 30.3%. Households in the 50th–90th percentile accounted for the largest share at 45.8%, whereas the bottom 50% of households collectively held just 10.1% of the households real estate wealth.
