Asian Countries Lead Tourism Boom of the 2010s

In 2019, 38 of 200 countries analyzed by UN Tourism saw over 10M tourist arrivals, with nine, mainly in Asia, doubling numbers since 2010. Japan (270%), Vietnam (261%), and India (210%) led growth. Post-COVID, many haven't recovered, and overtourism challenges persist globally.
