In 2024, U.S. goods trade with Ireland grew by 20.9% to $120 billion, driven by a sharp rise in imports. While U.S. exports declined by 1.4% to $17 billion, imports surged by 25.4% to $103 billion. As a result, the U.S. trade deficit with Ireland widened by 32.3% to $87 billion, largely driven by pharmaceutical imports.
