📈 Taiwan’s Exports to the U.S. Surpass China in Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, Taiwan’s goods exports to the United States rose to $45.9 billion, surpassing combined exports to China and Hong Kong, which totaled $42.4 billion. This shift was driven by soaring U.S. demand for integrated circuits and data processing units. In June alone, exports to the U.S. surged to $17.3 billion, compared to $14.6 billion to China and Hong Kong. Exports of integrated circuits and data processing units from Taiwan to the U.S. skyrocketed by 1,700%, rising from $0.6 billion in June 2023 to $10.7 billion in June 2025.
