📈 Manufactured Goods Imports (2024)

In 2024, the United States was the world’s largest importer of manufactured goods, with imports totaling $2.63 trillion, nearly double the next-largest importer. China ranked second with $1.33 trillion, followed by Germany at $1.04 trillion.
Other major importers included Hong Kong ($589 billion), France ($569 billion), and the United Kingdom ($519 billion). Mexico, Italy, and Canada each imported over $430 billion in manufactured goods, reflecting their strong integration into global supply chains.
Asian economies such as Japan ($423 billion), South Korea ($395 billion), and India ($352 billion) also registered substantial import volumes. Meanwhile, countries like Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam imported between $248 and $299 billion, despite having smaller economies.
At the lower end, Switzerland ($231 billion) and Malaysia ($211 billion) recorded more modest import figures.
