📈 EU Exports to U.S. Surge Post-Ukraine War, While Exports to China and Russia Decline
From 2021 to August 2024, EU exports to the U.S. rose by 31.1%, contrasting with a 19.2% decrease in exports to China and Russia combined. This decline includes a modest 2.0% drop to China and a significant 62.5% drop to Russia. Historically, from 2000 to 2013, EU exports to the U.S. grew by 29%, while exports to China and Russia combined surged by 452% (474% to China and 428% to Russia). In contrast, from 2013 to August 2024, EU exports to the U.S. rose by 113%, while combined growth to China and Russia stagnated at just 1.2% (63% growth to China and a 71% decline to Russia).
