📈 EU Export Dependence on U.S. Increases as EU’s Share of U.S. Exports Declines

From 2009 to 2024, the European Union's reliance on the U.S. as an export destination grew, with the U.S. share of EU exports rising from 14.3% to 20.5%, signaling a growing dependence on the U.S. market. Meanwhile, the EU’s share of total U.S. exports declined from 20.9% to 17.8%, reflecting a diversification of U.S. export markets beyond the EU.
