Which GenAI Website Saw the Biggest Traffic Jump in July 2025?

Global visits to major generative AI platforms shifted in July 2025, according to Similarweb’s worldwide traffic data. US-based services expanded their footprint through product rollouts, partnerships, and wider integrations, while China’s leading player lost ground.
Grok.com led with a 27.27% month-over-month increase. The lift followed its integration into X’s premium tier and the release of a lighter mobile interface that speeds up access to responses.
Claude.ai ranked second with 10.47% growth after debuting extended context features aimed at developers. Perplexity.ai was up 8.60%, as interest in AI-driven search continued to grow. Gemini.Google.com rose 7.88% following its addition to Workspace accounts for business and education users. ChatGPT.com (with 187.91 million daily visitors) gained 6.03%, supported by steady professional adoption.
The only platform to fall was DeepSeek.com, down 9.17%. As China’s top generative AI site, its decline comes amid limited feature updates, tougher competition from US rivals, and ongoing uncertainty over access to overseas markets.
