Top Recipients of AI Chatbot Traffic

This is the first time Similarweb has published a ranking of websites by how much traffic they get from ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI platforms, as opposed to search engines. As part of research done on behalf of Barron's for its recent cover story (Google Search Is Fading. The Whole Internet Is at Risk.), we analyzed traffic for the top 1,000 web domains and how much traffic they got from search (including Google Search with AI Overviews) as well as AI platforms. After Barron's published its story, we began exploring other uses for the data, including this look at the websites getting the most traffic from links within AI Chatbot answers.
