New data from Billion Dollar Boy’s Muse Report shows how consumer attitudes toward AI driven creators have evolved between late 2023 and mid 2025. The figures present a clear picture of where audiences see benefits and where concerns have increased.
Perceptions of improvement in creator content have risen. The share of people who believe AI has improved content diversity increased from 35 percent in 2023 to 41 percent in 2025. The share who feel AI has improved content quality moved from 35 percent to 38 percent in the same period. These changes suggest that audiences continue to recognize some positive contributions from AI tools.
Concerns about disruption have grown at a faster pace. In 2023 only 18 percent said AI had negatively disrupted the creator economy. By 2025 this figure reached 32 percent. Views on positive disruption shifted slightly downward from 34 percent to 31 percent. The trend indicates that more people are noticing effects that they interpret as challenges for creators.
Content preference shows the largest shift in the dataset. In 2023, 60 percent preferred AI generated creator content over traditional content. By 2025 the share dropped to 26 percent. The decline suggests a significant change in what audiences choose to engage with.
All in all the data reflects a more measured response to AI in creative work. People still recognize improvements in diversity and quality, yet a growing portion also report concerns and a reduced preference for AI generated content.
