AI Usage Cuts Across Generations

AI usage has surged rapidly in the past year, with many workers now bringing their own AI tools to the office. Across all four generations, the proportion of workers using personal AI tools at work ranges from 73% to 85%.

Expectedly, the greatest share (85%) of Gen Z workers bring their own AI tools to work compared to other generations.

According to Microsoft’s report, 52% of people who use AI at work are hesitant to admit using it for more important tasks.
