When it comes to revenue, user numbers, and web traffic, OpenAI’s ChatGPT currently dominates the market, while Deepseek accounts for only a tiny fraction.
More recent data from StatCounter, dated Feb. 2026, show that the market share has shifted for these tools, with ChatGPT now at 79.2%, Microsoft Copilot at 5.79%, Perplexity at 4.99%, Claude at 1.18%, Deepseek at 0.01%, and Google Gemini at 8.83%.
