From 2022 to February 2025, semiconductor production surged by 22.2%, in stark contrast to the broader manufacturing sector’s marginal 0.3% growth. This rapid expansion was driven by booming AI investments and robust policy support from the 2022 CHIPS Act, underscoring the semiconductor sector’s resilience amid overall manufacturing stagnation.
