📈 U.S. Semiconductor Market Share Rebounds Since 2022

Between 2018 and the first eight months of 2024, the Americas' (primarily the U.S.) share of the global semiconductor market grew from 22.0% to 29.2%. In the same period, U.S. semiconductor sales surged by 40% in 2024 compared to the first eight months of 2023, while the rest of the world saw a more modest 12% increase. This rapid expansion has been largely driven by strong investments in AI technologies.
