A New Era for the WNBA

The WNBA is breaking records with a 200% increase in ESPN viewership from 2023 to 2024, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

The surge in interest is largely driven by star rookies such as Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Cameron Brink, who amassed large followings after a record-breaking NCAA Women’s March Madness tournament.

WNBA game attendance across the league is also reaching unprecedented levels.

At the end of May 2024, the WNBA sold out more than half its games, more than double the number of sellouts last year.
