Colors in the world of football are not always a simple aesthetic detail: the deepest identity of each club is based on them.
The design of the home kit by sports brands is usually linked to the history, culture and, in many cases, to the social roots of each club.
Some of these, adopted their colors by chance – by receiving donations of shirts from other clubs – while others chose them conscientiously to represent the values of their city or differentiate themselves from their local rivals.
Color is a recognizable symbol around the world, capable of generating belonging, pride and unity among fans. That’s why a shirt not only dresses the players, but also transmits tradition, collective memory and an essence of what it means to belong to the club it wear.
