US adults report inflation as their main financial challenge

The Federal Reserve reported more citizens cited inflation as the reason for their financial difficulties, followed by the costs of basic living expenses and housing.

Inflation reached a 40-year high of 9.1% in June 2022 and has yet to return to the Fed’s target of 2%.
