IAB data shows that creator economy advertising is projected to reach 37.10 billion dollars in 2025. The market has grown steadily from 13.90 billion dollars in 2021 to an estimated 29.50 billion dollars in 2024, with each yearly increase reflected directly in the data.
The largest jump so far came in 2024 with a growth rate of 34 percent. The outlook for 2025 points to a further rise of 26 percent, and current estimates place 2026 at 43.90 billion dollars with an expected increase of 18 percent.
The IAB report notes that the rise in spending is tied to creators becoming a defined media channel and not just a social tactic. At the same time, advertisers want clearer measurement, stronger standards, and better discovery tools as the ecosystem grows more complex. The findings show a market that is expanding quickly but still working through issues around credibility, audience fit, and responsible use of AI. The IAB positions these improvements as the next step needed for creator advertising to operate at full scale.
