What's a Bitcoin Address?
A Bitcoin address is sort of like an email address for your digital currency. It's a string of letters and numbers that allows people send Bitcoin directly to a Bitcoin wallet.
Bitcoin addresses themselves are publicly available information. Anyone can see them, kind of like how phonebook listings used to be public. This transparency is part of how Bitcoin works.
