On October 29, 2025, the ten largest U.S. companies—Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, Meta, Broadcom, Tesla, Berkshire Hathaway, and Eli Lilly—reached a record combined market capitalization of $26.0 trillion. Momentum then stalled in the following months. During November and December 2025, the group’s total market value failed to extend gains, easing to $25.3 trillion by December 31, 2025.
From December 31, 2025, to January 23, 2026, the combined market capitalization of the top ten U.S. companies declined by 1.6%, falling to $24.9 trillion.
