📈 J.P. Morgan’s Market Cap Surpasses Combined Value of Three Rivals: BofA, Wells Fargo, Citigroup

Between 2000 and Q2 2025, J.P. Morgan Chase’s market capitalization soared 1,253%, from $60 billion to $806 billion—transforming it from the smallest of the top four U.S. banks to the most dominant. Over the same period, Bank of America rose 377% (from $75 billion to $356 billion), Wells Fargo grew 174% (from $95 billion to $261 billion), and Citigroup declined 31% (from $229 billion to $159 billion).
By Q2 2025, J.P. Morgan’s market capitalization exceeded the combined total of the other three banks. Together, the four accounted for $1.58 trillion in market value, up 245% from 2000.
