In the 14 months following President Trump’s inauguration, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 100,891 people in Texas.
The figures come from ICE data published by the Deportation Data Project.
It covers January 20, 2025 through March 10, 2026.

Texas (100,891), Florida (39,462), California (35,618), Georgia (15,149), and New York State (14,079) together account for roughly 205,000 arrests.
That is approximately 46% of the national total within the period.
The gap at the very top is striking on its own terms.
Florida, the second-highest state, recorded 39,462 arrests.
That means the distance between first and second place (more than 61,000 arrests) is itself larger than Florida’s entire total.
