Puerto Rico has Declared a Dengue Fever Epidemic

Puerto Rico has declared a dengue fever epidemic as cases of the mosquito-borne viral disease rise locally. According to Center for Disease Control data, there are nearly 400 cases on the island. Another 245 cases have been identified across the U.S., 99% of which are associated with recent travel.
