Context

Although Russia is the largest supplier to China and India, the amount of weapons it exports has decreased significantly in recent years. Surprisingly, this trend began even before its 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

According to an article from Foreign Policy (see source tab), China and India have been developing their own weapons industries, and thus rely less on Russia.
