An overview of US foreign interventions over the past 180 years, and data on split of interventions by continent / regions, countries, and which party (republican or democrat) was in power when intervention was initiated. All data sourced from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_involvement_in_regime_change
There is perfect balance between Republicans and Democrats, although if one takes out the world war interventions, Republican contributions outweigh those of Democrats especially so in Central and South America.
It is also quite interesting to see how some countries figure repeatedly: Syria, Iraq, Haiti, Venezuela and Nicaragua. Unfortunately none of them are in their best state today.
