What is WINA?

• WINA was established in March 1997, and is chaired by Mr. Koki Ando, President and CEO of Nissin Foods Holdings Co.
• The association intends to collect and distribute data related to instant noodles for safe consumption and quality.

Noodle Preferences Around the World

• Given Indonesia’s (rank #2) largely Muslim population, most noodle products are halal.
• Vegetable and tomato-based soups are eaten the most in India (rank #3) due to its large vegetarian population.
• Chicken is the most popular flavor in the U.S. (rank #6)

Random fact: Instant noodles sold in the U.S. are generally cut shorter due to most people eating them with a spoon and/or fork.
