A Tribe Called Judah is the first Nigerian movie to pass the 1 billion naira mark (about 1 million dollars).

Directed by Funke Akindele, the movie is not just a record-breaker but has also made her Nollywood's top director, with a combined movie earning of 2.7 billion naira. That's 44% more than the second-place director, Kemi Adetiba.
