10 Glastonbury Acts with the Biggest Surge (%) in Spotify Streams Following their Line-up Reveal

Using Spotify’s global streaming data, I compared the average weekly streams (based on the past year) for 22 major Glastonbury acts playing on the four biggest stages this year vs their stream count during the week they were announced to play.

The Big Winners
Doechii stood out as the most-streamed artist in the week of her Glastonbury announcement, relative to her weekly average. Her typical weekly stream count of 30.7 million surged to 104.3 million — a jump of nearly 239%. From TikTok virality in 2021, to a debut album release last year, her Glastonbury appearances represents yet another major milestone in her career.
R&B singer Raye and electronic producer Four Tet followed in second place with a jump of 43%, while Scissor Sisters also enjoyed major uplift in a year that coincides with the excitement of their comeback arena tour.
