Going nuclear

France builds the most nuclear power stations in Europe. Since the mid-50s the country has built 71 nuclear power stations, Russia and the UK follow, with 53 and 42 nuclear power stations respectively. In contrast, Germany has shut down all 36 nuclear power plants it has built since the 1960s and has no plans to build more.
