📈 U.S. Natural Gas Trade with North America (1985¬–2024)

The U.S. is a net exporter of natural gas to Mexico and a net importer from Canada. In 2024, the U.S. recorded a net export of 2.35 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas to Mexico while importing a net 2.08 Tcf from Canada, resulting in a 0.28 Tcf trade surplus with North America.
