China's crude oil imports surged to 11.9 million barrels per day (Mb/D) in November 2024, marking the highest monthly volume since August 2023. However, on an annual basis, imports declined by 1.7%, dropping from an average of 11.32 Mb/D during the 12 months ending November 2023 to 11.10 Mb/D for the same period in 2024.
