The 18th edition of WIPO’s Global Innovation Index (GII) assesses innovation performance across 139 countries, analyzing trends in investment, technological advancement, adoption, and socioeconomic impact. Switzerland continues to lead as the world’s most innovative country for the 15th year in a row, followed by Sweden, the United States, South Korea, and Singapore in the top five.
China has entered the Global Innovation Index (GII) top 10 for the first time, standing out as the global leader in knowledge and technology outputs. It is the only middle-income economy among the top 30.
