Business is Booming in Parts of the American West

Business is booming out west. From May 2023 to May 2024, business applications rose by 13.9% in Oregon, more than five percentage points higher than any other state. Montana was next at 8.0%, followed by Utah at 5.5% and Idaho at 4.7%.
