South Africa leads at $410.3bn, followed by Egypt $347.3bn and Algeria $268.9bn. Nigeria drops sharply to $188.3bn, while Morocco $165.8bn, Kenya $131.7bn, Angola $113.3bn, Ethiopia $117.5bn, Côte d’Ivoire $94.5bn and Ghana $88.3bn round out the top ten.
Burundi records a 58.9% GDP rise from 2023.
