Voronoi's Latest Update – What's New and What's Coming (July 2024)

Hello, Voronoi community! 👋 There are now around 90,000 of you using the app, and it's been gratifying watching the community grow over the course of the year. Behind the scenes, our development team has been working at improving the experience on the app, and a new update is now available.

Release Notes for July 2024

This last release was focused on improving the comments section, and we hope you've found replies and tagging useful so far. This time around, we have two new features to annouce.

Improved Popular Feed

We’ve improved the popular feed by allowing you to select different time frames. By default, the feed will show the most popular posts over the past 30 days, but you can change that at any time by tapping the Popular tab.

Web App is Now Live

Version 1.0 of the web app is live. Now the web version of Voronoi posts have all the same functionality as in the app (e.g. commenting, liking, etc). This is just the beginning though. There are big enhancements coming soon, including a discovery page and more.

Other Improvements

We also made a number of changes behind the scenes to help improve the stability and performance of the app.

What's Coming up on the Roadmap?

• Voronoi on the Web: We know you want more flexible options for viewing content on Voronoi, so we're building out our web app
• Video and Slideshows: We’re still building out support for these formats in the background. We’re taking a slow and steady approach to make sure the experience is top notch for users and creators alike
• Feed Improvements: We'll continue adjusting feeds so that they're more dynamic, and allowing users to customize certain variables
• Enhanced Search Functionality: We’re working on a powerful solution for search that will allow users to find and discover relevant visualizations
• Dark Mode: We've heard loud and clear that users want dark mode. Don't worry, it's in the pipeline!

Product Hunt Launch

On July 11th, we'll be launching Voronoi on Product Hunt, the leading platform globally to tech product launches. This will help expose Voronoi to an even wider audience. You can get involved by visiting out Product Hunt launch page and clicking "notify me" for updates. Your early support can make a big difference.
