Voronoi Community Update (Fall 2024)

Hello, Voronoi community! There are now 300,000 of you using the app across web and mobile. Thanks to you, Voronoi is becoming a lively hub for data discovery.

There are only two months left in the year, and we'll be ending off 2024 with a bang. Our development team is hard at work building the next version of Voronoi, which will be packed with improvements.

What's coming to Voronoi 2.0?

Personalization

You'll likely notice a pop-up in the app asking you to select some topics you're interested in. These preferences will help us deliver alerts and content that more closely matches what you're into. What to keep things general interest? That's totally fine as well! We'll gradually begin rolling out a more tailored experience over the next couple of months.

Slideshows

Some data stories are to complex to fit into a single image. That's why we're launching slideshow functionality to creators in November. Keep an eye out for them in your feed and let us know what you think!

Visual of the Week

We'll be implementing a fun feature that allows the community to vote for their favorite data story each week. Creators who find themselves at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the week will have new flair added to their profile, and will have their work featured prominently to the Voronoi community.

Improved Navigation

We want the incredible work of creators to take center stage, so we're simplifying in-app menus.

Dark Mode

We know you want dark mode! We're aiming to have it done by the end of the year.

In addition to the features above, we're adding functionality to improve the Creator experience.
