Refugee Admissions are Increasing After a 40 Year Low in 2022
Over 3.6 million refugees have entered the US since 1975 — more than Utah’s current population. After entrances hitting a 40-year annual low of 11,411 during pandemic, over 60,000 refugees entered the country in 2023. From 2011 to 2023, the most refugees came from Myanmar.
