• In the top 10, Ohio (80%) has the highest proportion of White Americans, followed closely by Pennsylvania (79%). Maine (94%) and Vermont (94%) are the states with the highest proportion of White Americans.
• Among the largest 10 states, Georgia (32%) has the highest proportion of Black Americans. Washington DC (45%) was the region with the highest percentage of Black Americans.
• In the top 10, California (15%) has the highest proportion of Asian Americans. Hawaii (38%) was the region with the highest percentage of Asian Americans.
