The World's Landlocked Rivers
Did you think *all* rivers end up in the sea? Well, you might be suprised to learn about the existence of endorheic rivers. Endorheic rivers are basically landlocked catchment areas (hydrological networks) that like all other rivers are fed by rainwater or glacier water and form ramifications as rivers merge, but instead of reaching the ocean and creating a delta or a coastal lagoon... they evaporate hundred of kilometers away from the shores. They're mostly found far inland in arid, hot places where depressions occurs in the landscape.
This map will teach you a lot more about these geographical curiosities!
