Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., is a Taiwanese electronics contract manufacturer. The company produces roughly two out of every three iPhones, as well as devices for other brands like Google and Sony.
Luxshare grows in prominence
China-based Luxshare has grown its role in Apple’s supply chains, manufacturing a range of products including the iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and even the Vision Pro headset.
The company was one of Bloomberg’s Top 50 companies to watch in 2023, and its CEO, Wang Laichun, is one of China’s richest women with a net worth of roughly $7B.
