Where Data Tells the Story

The largest IPO in history is listed today.
But behind the scenes, Starlink added 8 million subscribers in two years. The question is why each new subscriber is worth less than the last one.
In 2023, Starlink earned $99 per user per month. In Q1 2026, $81.
That's an 18% drop, even as subscribers went up 4x.
Most people see the subscriber chart and stop thinking. The real question is why revenue per user keeps falling. Is Starlink deliberately entering cheaper markets, or is pricing pressure doing it for them?
There's a version of this story where the unit economics fix themselves at scale. There's another version where SpaceX just went public at $1.75 trillion before the market figured out why.
The data doesn't tell you which version is true. But it tells you exactly where the real question lies.
