NVIDIA’s annual net income per reported year-end employee rose from $0.17 million in FY2023 to $2.86 million in FY2026: a 17× increase in three fiscal years. The calculation divides annual GAAP net income by NVIDIA’s reported global employee count at each fiscal year-end. Net income rose from $4.4 billion to $120.1 billion, while year-end headcount rose from 26,196 to 42,000. The result is a compact measure of how much company profit sat behind each reported employee as demand and margins surged. This is not a pay statistic. It does not mean each employee received, or individually created, $2.86 million. It also cannot identify the cause of the rise: pricing, demand, product mix, capital, intellectual property, and outsourced suppliers all matter.
