Infiniti’s QX50 ranks the worst
The QX50 is Infiniti’s compact crossover offering, currently in its second generation (introduced in 2019).
In a review of the 2024 QX50, Car and Driver criticized the model’s fuel economy and drivetrain.
“Despite luxurious looks and a comfy ride, the QX50 falls short in a highly competitive segment due to an unrefined powertrain.”
Volkswagen Taos not much better
The second worst car in this ranking is the Taos, a compact crossover SUV from Volkswagen. Previous years of the Taos appear to be mired with engine issues, including stalling and acceleration lag.
Between August 2021 and March 2023, a total of 6 recalls were issued for the Taos.
