Together, the United States, Russia, and Saudi Arabia accounted for 32.7 million barrels per day of global oil production in 2023.
In contrast, the combined production of the next three largest producing countries—Canada, Iraq, and China—amounted to 13.1 million barrels per day in 2023, just slightly surpassing the production of the United States alone.
